Autonomous body of the college

The state government of Madhya Pradesh had announced the college as autonomous in June 1998, and the management of the Institute is regulated by the registered society, named Hakim Syed Ziaul Hasan Government Unani Medical College & Hospital Society, Bhopal.

General Council

The top governing body, The General Council is presided over by the Hon'ble Minister of AYUSH, Government of M.P. Bhopal and amongst others, the Principal Secretary, AYUSH Department, and the Director, Department of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy, M.P. Bhopal are the Hon'ble Members of the Society. The Principal of the College is designated as the member secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Institute.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of the Institute is chaired by the Commissioner of Bhopal Division, The Secretary of the AYUSH Department, and the Commissioner of AYUSH. Department is also The Hon'ble Members of the Committee. The Principal of the college serves as a member secretary to this committee. In addition to the committees mentioned above, College also has the Academic and the Finance Committees to make sure academic and financial activities continue smoothly.
